This session will examine cross-functional collaboration between security teams and engineering teams in the age of artificial intelligence, and how much easier it is to go from 0 to 1 in terms of prototyping security solutions.
We’ll identify pain points in security operations from a technical perspective and how to introduce automation in a way that allows security teams to be more efficient and scale to support more clients or expanded operations/responsibilities.

HiveWatchWilliam Pearl is senior manager of GSOC operations at HiveWatch, where he oversees end-to-end dedicated global security operations center solutions for enterprise clients, leading program development, hiring, training and serving as a client-facing account executive. His expertise spans guard force management, physical security operations, intelligence functions, KPI development and HiveWatch application integration.
With more than seven years of progressive security leadership, Pearl has built GSOC programs from the ground up for Fortune 100 clients, produced threat assessments and intelligence briefings and collaborated cross-functionally across sales, implementation, engineering and customer success. Prior to his time at HiveWatch, he garnered a wealth of his security expertise at Rocket Companies, where he quickly advanced from an analyst to GSOC team leader under the tutelage of the chief security officer, Chuck Wilson (former Detroit police chief of staff).

Rey WilliamsSenior Software Engineer, AI Operator and App Experience
HiveWatchRey Williams is a senior software engineer at HiveWatch, where he helps lead development of the company’s artificial intelligence offering, partnering with product, data engineering and the internal global security operations center to build intuitive solutions for customers. More broadly, he serves on HiveWatch’s App Experience team, contributing to both front-end and back-end development that defines how users interact with the HiveWatch platform, while also providing architectural and technical guidance through ongoing code review. Williams’ expertise spans full-stack development, cloud infrastructure and AI-driven product development at companies like Expedia Group and Microsoft.
