Theme: The Next Wave of Security Leaders

AcceleRISE brings together emerging professionals from across the security industry to explore the ideas, challenges and perspectives shaping the next generation of security leadership. The conference focuses on practical insights, real-world experiences and conversations that challenge conventional thinking about how security is designed, implemented and led.

We are seeking session proposals that challenge assumptions, present real-world experiences and highlight the perspectives that shape how security is designed, implemented and operated.

Sessions should focus on ideas, experience and industry insight rather than product promotion.

The Many Sides of Security

Security decisions often look very different depending on where you sit in the industry.

We are especially interested in sessions that explore the same security challenge from multiple perspectives, such as:

  • End User vs Integrator
  • Manufacturer vs Operator
  • Sales vs Security Practitioner
  • Technology Provider vs Security Leader

    • These sessions should highlight how different stakeholders approach the same problem, where expectations diverge and what each side wishes the other understood.

    The Security Gap: When Industry Assumptions Miss the End User

    Many security challenges arise from a gap between what the end user actually needs and what the industry believes they need.

    Sessions exploring this dynamic may examine:

    • What the end user needed
    • What the vendor believed they needed
    • Where communication broke down
    • What both sides learned

    Proposals that explore this gap in understanding are strongly encouraged.
