About Speaker

Sonny is the President and Founder of Actuate, a company that builds AI software that enables existing security cameras to automatically identify threats to safety and security.

Actuate currently works with over 80 monitoring companies and is deployed across over 20,000 customer sites.

Prior to Actuate, Sonny served as a US Marine Officer with a deployment to Afghanistan in 2012. Upon returning from deployment, Sonny earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and spent a short stint in strategy consulting before starting Actuate.
