Sarah Shoulak is a part-time speech professor at Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. Her courses include Fundamentals of Speech and Interpersonal Communication. She previously served in a leadership role as the engagement and communication manager for Lightmaker USA, a digital agency combining internship, mentorship and Ccommunity outreach programs. Sarah received Lightmaker’s Best New Hire award in 2015 and the Lightmaker of the Year award in 2016.

Throughout her various roles, Shoulak’s use of humor, combined with her modern appearance, have made it easy for students and peers alike to feel comfortable and share openly. Shoulak holds a M.A. in communications studies and a B.A. in communication. She first joined Toastmasters International in 2008 and was the keynote speaker at the Toastmasters Leadership Institute in 2015.
