Director of Multifamily Channel Strategy
Robert Gaulden has been in the security industry for more than 15 years, focusing on electronic access control, business development and security policy. During his most recent years at Allegion, Robert has worked on integration partnerships, channel development and go-to-market strategies associated with Allegion’s access control platforms. He’s currently responsible for developing strategy, channels and PropTech partnerships to drive the customer experience and provide seamless access for the multifamily market. Gaulden brings a unique perspective and understanding of the role technology plays in delivering a holistic experience for owners, developers, property managers and the resident. He has been featured in Security Sales & Integrator, A&S International and Security System News, where he was chosen as a “20 under 40” honoree in 2013.
Prior to Allegion’s spinoff, Gaulden served as a regional sales manager for Ingersoll Rand, focusing on the integration business for the North and South regions. He then worked at Kratos Public Safety & Security Solutions, Inc., as the senior vice president of sales and marketing before returning to Allegion.
Gaulden graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in mechanical engineering.
