Michael is an American entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in advance security and automation technology. He is a founding team member and chief revenue at ASYLON, an American robotics company developing autonomous security drones for perimeter security.

During his career in the physical security industry, Michael has held several key leadership positions for successful technology companies such as United Technologies Corporation and Intelligent Drone Systems, an enterprise security Drone service and consulting company he founded, which was later combined with what today is now ASYLON.

Michael is a known thought leader in the security drone industry with many firsts attributed to his team in both the counter-UAS and autonomous UAS space. He currently co-leads the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Critical Infrastructure- CIPAC Working Group Project-UAS Security Operations-Counter UAS & Autonomous UAS Operations. He is also the drone subject matter expert for the United States Coast Guard Atlantic Area-Sector Miami Maritime security working group. Michael was a guest speaker at the FBI DSAC 2018 annual meeting as a SME on UAS Security Operations-Red/Blue team operations.

Quiroga attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and is a USA Wrestling National Champion. He is a former Florida member of the board for Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International, the world’s largest organization devoted to advancing unmanned systems, and is also a member of the Airborne Public Safety Association and a member of the ASIS Robotics Committee.
