Kelsey Carnell is the co-chair of SIA RISE and a regional sales manager (RSM) at Axis Communications. She is a part of the global sales organization, serving as a thought leader and local advisor to the partners and customers of New England.

Carnell joined Axis in 2016 as a sales development representative, then was quickly promoted to inside sales account manager (ISAM) and ISAM team lead, where she spent three years helping to drive Axis sales and total solutions in the South Central region, covering Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. During this time, Kelsey worked with numerous complex projects and very large global accounts, led a team of three inside sales reps, strategized for the future of the team and helped to grow the team as she transitioned to her current role of outside sales RSM. She is very involved in industry organizations such as GSD, ASIS International, SIA RISE, AVIXA, the Kindness Games and more.

Carnell holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU). In 2019, she completed her master’s degree in business administration from SNHU in 2019 and obtained her CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) certification from Florida Atlantic University  to help further her security knowledge and assist in design/build. In her spare time she loves running, expanding her network, spending time with family and friends and selling homes, as she holds a real-estate license. Carnell thinks that education and experience is power and truly believes that stepping out of your comfort zone is the way to achieve success.
