The landscape of the security industry is changing, which will require companies and their leadership to adjust their approaches to talent acquisition, personnel development and how company cultures are managed. As young professionals ascend in the workplace and cultivate their careers, they must do so with an understanding on what top companies are seeking and how to align themselves with the desired attributes for future leaders.
In a survey of 200+ chief security officers and industry leaders, we obtained feedback on the most sought-after characteristics young professionals and emerging leaders in security. This session will share the top five characteristics, discuss the follow-up interviews we performed with security industry leaders and provide insights on tangible actions and resources for building competency in these areas.
