For so many young professionals, social media is second nature, as so many of us grew up in the digital age. While we use these tools in our day-to-day personal lives, however, more and more marketing in the security industry is being executed using platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram, which leads us to ask, how can social media and marketing be used by today’s professionals to increase sales? And what role do I play in the success of my company’s social media and marketing efforts?
In this presentation, this topic will be explored using real-world examples of successful social media engagement within the security industry, best practices for melding the world of business and personal social media use and the methods by which today’s forward-thinking companies are utilizing social media as a sales tool.
